Our Core Values
Retail Fitouts Brisbane
RJR Shopfitting has delivered retail fitouts for some of Australia’s most recognised brands, from busy shopping centre tenancies through to high-profile Brisbane CBD locations.
A retail fitout needs to look right, but it also needs to be built properly, handed over on time and ready for trade. That is where our experience makes a real difference. We understand the pressure around opening dates, centre requirements, council restrictions, public safety and working in live retail environments.
Our retail work includes projects such as JB HiFi Queen Street Mall, where the site was handed over behind schedule and our team took on extra works to help the client open on time. We also completed Pandora Queen Street Mall Brisbane, where the fitout required careful attention to detailed joinery, heritage building conditions, noise restrictions and working in harmony with Brisbane City Council.
From custom counters and display joinery through to structural steel, glazing, signage, flooring, ceilings, lighting and full trade coordination, RJR Shopfitting can manage the retail fitout from start to finish.
Office Fitouts
RJR Shopfitting works with businesses, builders, architects and designers to deliver office fitouts that are practical, detailed and finished to a high standard.
Good office joinery has to do more than fill a space. It needs to suit the way the business works, look sharp for staff and clients, and be built with the right materials so it holds up over time. We can manufacture and install detailed office joinery, reception areas, workstations, storage, feature cabinetry and other custom commercial joinery as part of a wider office refurbishment or new fitout.
Our work with Wiley Head Office is a good example of this. RJR Shopfitting was selected to manufacture and install architecturally-designed office joinery for their head office refurbishment, working closely with the design team, project managers and site foreman to make sure the overall concept was achieved.
Careful planning was needed on site to minimise disruption to the Wiley office staff, which is often a major part of office fitout work. The end result was a modern, detailed office refurbishment that reflected the quality both Wiley and RJR Shopfitting expect.
Hospitality Fitouts
Hospitality fitouts need to feel right from the moment a customer walks in. The layout, counter, finishes, lighting, joinery and small details all work together to shape the experience.
RJR Shopfitting can help create hospitality spaces that are practical for staff and memorable for customers. Whether it is a cafe, tea house, food retail tenancy or presentation-style showroom, we bring the same focus on detail, materials, function and finish.
A good example of this approach is our work on The Way of Tea project. A lot of research and thought went into the project, with the space designed to reflect the tradition of a tea ceremony. Details such as the washbasin, bell and Tokonoma display area were included to create a more meaningful customer experience, not just a standard fitout.
The project also involved detailed custom work, including sheet metal reveals and trims, recessed copper panels, solid timber and architectural fittings, all manufactured with a high level of accuracy. This is the kind of detail that matters in hospitality spaces, where the look, feel and function all need to work together.
